I was in a massive traffic jam on Highland, when I noticed all these light and people on Hollywood Blvd. I popped in to see what the ruckus was and caught them introducing Dianne Ladd -- of Chinatown fame and mother of Laura Dern. It's the 50 year anniversary of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, so they commemorated with a time capsule full of junk. My parking was only validated for an hour, so I couldn't stay. I snapped this quick photo with my phone.

I got yelled at by this hunky Mexican guy tonight because I hadn't posted a picture to this blog in weeks. Needless to say, I don't want to cause him any more distress, so that's why I'm catching up now. This is me with the staff at El Carmen's on 3rd street. I love that place. They don't have Taco Tuesday, but happy hour is pretty good. I got two tacos with rice and beans for five bucks. Sweet. Blurry picture for an equally blurry evening, mkay?

And... I'm all caught up on my picture of the day now!! Yah! :)

I've done Halloween parades in San Francisco, New York City, and now Los Angeles. I have to say, I'm very proud of the Angelenos. It was such a chilled night and everyone was so well behaved. Not at all like the night I almost got shot at Castro. Yep. I was right there.

This is probably one of the best costumes I've seen in a long time. Meet Alicia. She might be the walking dead, but she's puuurty.

I haven't even seen the trailer for this film and I don't think I care to, but I did a very Hollywood thing and accidentally ran into the premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre while I was shopping for Halloween costumes. Very cool.

Once a week, I get to buy flowers to decorate the set of videos that we're filming. When we're done with the flowers and they're tossed aside, they get tossed onto my desk. I love that I get buy myself flowers weekly. I'm so lucky. Tomorrow: red roses!

I know that I've posted makeup before, but you have to understand that this has become my life! Not that I can complain. Pretty much I'm living the dream of half of my high school's cheerleading squad. Don't you just love the colors?

I love using candles for ambeint lighting, as opposed to lamps. There is something so soothing about soft lighting at night time. This candle is from Slatkin I know & Co. I know there are some health risks because of the soot and all. (Which I just found out yesterday!!) But do not fret. I will switch to soy candles soon.
